Steinfeld Law has acted for a number of investors as they backed the luxury womenswear brand, Valle&Vik.
Launched in May 2017, Valle&Vik is a London based womenswear brand which redefined relaxed Scandinavian glamour. All of Valle&Vik’s prints are created by founder Silje Vallevik who draws on her background in fine art and her Norwegian heritage ensuring a distinctive yet timeless feel through each of her collections.
Steinfeld Law acted on behalf of the investors as they secured significant minority stakes in the company. The investments were structured to attract both Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) relief in the first round and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) relief in subsequent rounds.
Charlotte Burkeman, one of the investors, joined the board of Valle+Vik.
